Book Keeper Role
Sherwood Fellows is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
Bookkeeper job duties include working closely process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate can work in both details and big picture and has experience book keeping with an LLC with multiple types of projects and clients. Experience with Freshbooks is preferred.
Perform monthly bank account reconciliations, accept online transactions into Freshbooks, and provide monthly, quarterly, and end of year P&L and balance sheet reports.
Hours are flexible, position is remote.

This is a paid, part-time, entry level position.
What you Will Do:
Collect and organize invoices
Weekly meeting to review where finances are
Prep for meeting by gathering info
Coordinate with Crossroads about Catholic Creatives
Give monthly breakdowns of income/expenses from Stripe, Ticketspice, paypal, etc.
Communicate with clients about invoice questions, follow up about payments.
Pick up and deposit checks.**if local to Dallas.
Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Coordinate with accountant/cpa to keep on regular tax deadlines
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
